Serbia’s Kopanoik Ski Resort is constructing a gondola connecting the villages of Brzece and Mali Karaman. The $24.4 million project was awarded to Leitner, which will work with a consortium of firms to complete the system.

Hakone Tozan Railway replaced the funicular cars in their 1.2km line. The replacement trainsets for the 25-year-old vehicles have the capacity to hold up to 250 passengers.

The Hakkari Ski Center in Turkey has become a major ski resort in the region. The resort’s investment of $2.3 million for a new 1.2 km chairlift, along with other improvements, has increased their capacity for visitors.

Additionally, here is just one of many stories globally about a Gondola closing due to COIVD-19. The Emirates Airline Cable Car in London closed March 21st.
