- The Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA) has extended the Hatta project’s bid deadline to July 18. The contract package includes luxury hotels and a 5.4-kilometer gondola with three stations reaching the Umm Al-Nesoor peak at 1,300 meters. - The construction of Los Alcarrizos cable car in the Dominican Republic is nearly 40% complete. The President of the Republic visited the site to learn more about the advances to the work. The cable car will be integrated with the Santo Domingo Metro, improving accessibility and reducing travel times from up to one and a half hours to 12 minutes. The system is 7.3 kilometers with five stations.
- The Sky Safari cable car at the Taronga Zoo in Sydney is set to undergo an $81 million upgrade. The new cable car will improve riders experience with a bigger, better, and faster system. The original system was inaugurated in 1987 and first remodeled in 2000. The new cable car is set to open in 2025.
