- Colorado has released COVID-19 guidelines for the state’s ski areas. The guidelines include items such as: maintaining social distancing of six feet, reduction of gondola and chair lift capacities, and new trip cancellation policies. Ski areas must submit their COVID-19 procedures to the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment for approval before opening for the season.
- The Pop Century Resort experienced extraordinarily long lines for Disney’s Skyliner, and they were documented by Disney guests. The lines for the Skyliner are longer due to COVID-19 social distancing regulations that limit one party per gondola.
- The Penang government is expected to make a request for proposals (RFP) for the Penang Hill cable car project next month. The project will proceed with private funds after the federal government cancelled the allocations for the project. The project is expected to take three to four years to be operational.
