- A cable car in Prague, Czech Republic, will begin operation in 2023. The system will allow passengers to cross the Vltava River, traveling between Podbaba Station, the zoo, and Krakov. Currently, this route is only possible via a ferry that operates only during the Summer months. The construction cost for the 2.24 km line is estimated to be between $39 to $59 million (USD). The 3S system will have 17 cabins with the capacity to hold 35 people. The total travel time will be 7 minutes.

- A ropeway system for transporting packages was constructed to help a rural Chinese village. In November of 2019, the system was installed as a trial to see the benefit for villagers in Xintang, who previously had to travel to town to pick up packages. The ropeway, which takes approximately 15 minutes for a one-way trip with each transport box able to carry up to 100 kg (220 lbs), is helping to better connect this rural area to the economy.
