- A Jerusalem Cable Car Project is moving forward despite the objections of many, including archaeologists, architects, and Palestinians. Roughly 3.5 million tourists visit Jerusalem annually.
- Rome Mayor Virginia Raggi wants construction on a cable car network to start by mid-2021, before the end of her administration’s term. The envisioned system would have the capacity to transport 3,600 people per hour.
