A quick look at some of the things that happened this week in the world of cable cars, urban gondolas, and cable propelled transit:
- In Algeria, the Transport Minister announced that 20 cable car projects will soon be realized throughout the country — 10 of which have already have tenders submitted. He added that Algeria will create their own management company for all cable cars in the country.
- And lastly, if Google’s Turkish to English translations are to be trusted, it appears that there is a cable car proposal in the northeast Turkish city of Trabzon. No word on the alignments or system stats.
