This Week’s Tweak involves the Systems We’re Following page as well as further re-organization of the Conceptual CPT Designs page. Previously there were a lot of systems missing from both these indexes, as well as inconsistencies and overlaps between the two.
The general distinction now is that the Systems We’re Following is a list of projects that are all in at least the Planning Phase, whereas the Conceptual CPT Designs is a list of much more theoretical cable projects, such as the Toronto Gondola System or the Chicago Cable Car.
You can find these tweaked pages under the Learn About Cable Transit option in the top header (or click the links within this post).
What’s A Tweak? (Explanation from last week’s tweak post)
As we continue to improve the Gondola Project, we will not just be adding new information, but also reorganizing some of the hundreds of existing cable posts/facts/ideas/and concepts on the site so that they are easier to search for, find, and understand. Right now, even with all the existing information, there are gaps — pages under constructions, concepts that need explaining, white cards we haven’t yet posted, etc.
To help you know what we’ve been working on, each Monday morning we’ll point out a new “tweak” we’ve done to the site. By making our tweaks a reliable and regular occurrence, readers of the site can be assured that we’re always striving to build a better site.
