- The Cheddar Gorge cable car proposal’s feasibility studies (i.e. environmental assessment, traffic survey etc.) is currently estimated to cost £500,000.
- Government regeneration plans in Newcastle, Northern Ireland calls for a gondola ride to Mourne Mountains.
- The Sea to Sky Gondola proposal in Squamish, British Columbia is getting closer and closer to realization. 2 of the 4 zoning amendments needed have been made. Construction is slated for Fall 2012
