A few highlights from around the world of Urban Gondolas, Gondola Transit, and Cable Propelled Transit:

• The Darjeeling Ropeway in India is set to reopen this weekend after a long hiatus following a fatal accident in 2003.
• Also in India, the AP Tourism Development Corporation is proposing a ropeway for the Kanakadurga Temple, a famous Hindu Temple located on Indrakeedari Hill.
• The Emirates Air Line Cable Car saw its first pylon base placed this week. In total there will be three towers, each prefabricated in several pieces.
• The Wings of Tatev Aerial Tram will be closed next week as the system will under go adjustments for winter and its yearly inspection.
